Abthal Monir is a Analyst at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this role, Abthal is responsible for helping build and maintain relationships with our external partners.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Adnan worked as a Financial Services headhunter in London & Dubai, where he advised Banks & Financial Institutions on their talent strategy to attract & retain top talent. He brings more than a decade of experience in people & talent roles, with a particular expertise talent acquisition.

Adnan holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Queen Mary, University of London, graduating in 2008. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Alaa Halawa is the Head of Healthcare at Mubadala Capital, based in San Francisco, United States. In this capacity, Alaa oversees Mubadala Capital Healthcare investment strategy across Ventures, Growth and Private Equity in life sciences, healthcare technology, and healthcare services.

Since joining Mubadala in 2009, Alaa has played a critical role in expanding the firm’s presence in both semiconductors and life sciences. He was part of the early team that helped build GlobalFoundries, one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers, and later played a key role in its transformation into a publicly traded company valued at $30 billion. Alex Mitchell is a Senior Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this capacity, Alex oversees fund and direct investments and portfolio management for Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners.

Anaik Copeland is a Senior Executive Assistant at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Anaik supports the firm’s Chief Investment Officer and manages travel and logistics for the Brazil office. Anaik is also responsible for overseeing the reimbursement process and coordinating various sponsored events on behalf of the firm.

Anthony Paniccia joined Mubadala Capital in 2015 and is currently a Partner and Head of Finance and Operations. Based in New York, Anthony has broad oversight of the finance, operations and administration of the organization’s third-party capital activities.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, he was a Vice President at Northleaf Capital Partners from 2006 to 2014 where he managed a portfolio of private equity and venture capital investments. Anthony has significant industry experience having begun his career in investment management in 2001 with various divisions of TD Bank Financial Group.

Antoun Ghanem is a Partner on the Private Equity team at Mubadala Capital, based in London. He leads the firm’s European Private Equity program, overseeing investment strategy, deal origination, execution, and portfolio value creation across the region. He also serves as Head of the London Office.

Since joining Mubadala Capital, Antoun has played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s European presence and driving performance across the platform. He has led several notable investments, including Looping Group, Witherslack, Forfar, RelyOn, Bugaboo, and Babel, and is one of the key architects behind Mubadala Capital's landmark investment in Fortress Investment Group.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Antoun served as Senior Vice President in Mubadala’s Services Ventures unit, where he led investments alongside international partners into joint ventures across the financial services, logistics, transportation, and defense services sectors. He began his career as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton from 2005 to 2007, advising clients on growth and operational strategy.

Antoun brings over 20 years of experience in private equity and strategic investing, with deep expertise in complex transactions, cross-border execution, operational transformation, and platform scaling.

He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Honors in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.

Ashley van den Bol is an Analyst on the Private Equity team at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. She supports the evaluation and execution of direct investments across sectors such as consumer and business services and contributes to ongoing portfolio management efforts.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Ashley has played a key role in executing several bolt-on acquisitions for multiple platform investments. She regularly conducts due diligence, builds acquisition models, and supports investment committee processes.

Previously, Ashley was an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at LionTree, focusing on TMT and consumer retail investment banking. She also worked at Schroders Capital on the Private Equity team.

Assaad Henoud is a Director at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this role, he serves on the capital formation team covering key global markets. With over a decade of experience in private equity and strategic investments, Assaad has successfully raised capital from institutional investors, family offices, pensions, and insurance companies across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He has played a leading role in the fundraising efforts for the platform's Special Situations strategy.

Assad Rafiq is the SVP of Portfolio Administration, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, he oversees portfolio monitoring and performance reporting of Mubadala Capital’s balance sheet investments. Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, Assad has updated and managed the balance sheet portfolio. His responsibilities include overseeing capital activities and providing performance reports on a quarterly basis, alongside maintaining communication with global investment partners.

Before joining Mubadala Capital, Assad worked at TPG Global in Fort Worth, TX, where he focused on the financial reporting of multiple private equity and venture capital funds. Prior to his tenure at TPG, he held positions at Aquiline Capital Partners, Rho Ventures, and Citi Private Equity. He has over 18 years of experience within private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds, with expertise in financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and regulatory reporting.

Assad earned a bachelor’s degree from Mountain State University, graduating in 2006.

Ayman AlAbdallah oversees venture investments at the intersection of technology and healthcare, partnering with companies from formation through growth and public stages.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2018, Ayman has played a critical role in launching and scaling the firm’s venture capital presence in North America. He has led investments in several transformative companies, including Ciitizen (acquired by Invitae), EasyPost, EpiBiologics, IonQ (IONQ), Innovaccer, Orca Bio, Recursion (RXRX), Turvo (acquired by Lineage), Vir Bio (VIR), Vividion (acquired by Bayer), and Writer AI. He currently serves as a director or observer on the boards of Capital Rx, Collective Health, Georgiamune, Iambic, Juvena, Owkin, Precision Neuro, Tahoe, and Unlearn AI, among others.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Ayman worked in corporate development at Tecan Group, where he co-managed M&A and equity investment efforts across the U.S. and Europe. He began his career as a management consultant at Accenture, advising clients in Canada and the U.S. on critical strategic and operational challenges. He also held roles with OMERS Capital’s hedge fund team, focusing on the intersection of machine learning and event-driven investing, and held operational roles at several startups including Sentinelle Medical, Pullsar Technologies, and Airo Health (Y Combinator S16).

Ayman holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto, where he received the Chalmers Award and a research fellowship for his thesis on novel Lab-on-a-Chip platforms.

Ben Lanz is a Vice President, Taxation of Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this capacity, Ben oversees global tax compliance across all platforms and supports fund and deal teams on tax matters.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Ben has played a critical role in standardizing complex global tax compliance processes and bolstering the tax function's support of all other functional groups within the organization.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Ben worked at Ernst & Young, where he focused on tax for large financial service institutions.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Blake was General Counsel at Verno Capital, and held senior roles including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Legal at Renaissance Asset Managers. He brings over 17 years of experience in private equity, public equity, and M&A, with particular expertise in transaction execution, investment analysis, and value creation. Breno holds an MBA from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (USP).

Bruna Azevedo is the Receptionist & Team Admin of Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Bruna is responsible for executive support to Directors and the Deal Team, with responsibilities that include calendar management, travel coordination and general administrative support, and the oversight of daily priorities to contribute to the team’s organization.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Bruna has played a key role in optimizing office routines to help ensure smooth and organized workflows. She has led the coordination of complex executive calendars, supported the preparation of high-level meetings, provided direct assistance to the team, and contributed where possible to the team's overall organization.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Camila worked at Polo Capital, where she focused on providing personal support to two high-profile executives and their families, including the management of household staff, properties, assets, travel, and personal finances. She brings 26 years of experience in handling a wide range of executive, personal, and administrative responsibilities, with particular expertise in High-level executives.

Camila holds a technical degree in Insurances from Universidade Estácio de Sá.

Carina Lima is a Compliance Analyst at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Carina is responsible for supporting the oversight of the compliance program, conducting continuous monitoring activities, participating in the compliance due diligence process, contributing to the review and update of internal policies in line with applicable regulatory requirements, and supporting the monitoring of compliance-related activities across portfolio companies.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Carina has been instrumental in supporting key compliance initiatives. She has supported the Brazil Office’s successful achievement of the ISO 37001 certification, an international standard for anti-bribery management systems that demonstrates the organization’s commitment to preventing, detecting, and addressing bribery risks.

She brings 3 years of experience in compliance, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – Rio de Janeiro, graduating in 2023.

Carlos Kaezer is the Senior Vice President of Human Capital at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Carlos oversees the scope of human capital operations, including recruiting, rewards and benefits, learning and development, culture and engagement, and local compliance regulations. He also provides strategic support to the firm’s portfolio companies, with a particular focus on C-level recruitment and aligning people strategies with business performance.

Since joining Mubadala in 2019, Carlos has played a key role in professionalizing and structuring the human capital function from the ground up. He has led C-level recruitment for several portfolio companies, attracted high-impact talent that has strengthened organizational culture and performance, and successfully repositioned Mubadala Capital’s benefits offering into the market’s top quartile. In addition, he contributed to the implementation of a new compensation framework, supported HR-related due diligences for investment decisions, and currently serves as a member of the People Committee in two strategic PortCos.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Carlos was Head of HR Brazil at Schlumberger, where he led the HR function during a period of significant transformation in the oil & gas industry. There, he delivered strong results in cost reduction, union negotiations, compliance, and employee engagement, while supporting over 1,500 employees and managing a team of over 20 HR professionals.

Carlos holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Carlos de Palacio is an Associate in the Private Equity team at Mubadala Capital, based in the London office. He executes European take-privates and control buy-outs across business services, leisure, industrial technologies and tech-enabled services, while co-managing the growth portfolio and driving post-close value-creation. Since joining in 2023, Carlos has executed two investments in infrastructure-software and applied-AI, and now serves as board observer to several portfolio companies.

Before joining Mubadala Capital, Carlos worked in TMT and FIG M&A at UBS and later drove corporate strategy initiatives at TIER Mobility. He also worked as an investor with DST Global in London, where he sourced and diligenced late-stage opportunities in global fintech and software growth companies.

Carlos holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BEng in Electromechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

Caroline Collins is a Senior Executive Assistant at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Caroline supports the Senior General Counsel, overall Global Head of Legal, Compliance and Tax, as well as Senior Management and Legal Team Members.

Caroline is originally from the UK and has over 40 years of experience as an Executive Assistant in the FMCG sector based in the UK working for FTSE100 companies in Sales & Marketing as well as International Marketing, including several years spent in Private Practice based in Bermuda and Dubai providing support in various sectors including Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions, Insurance & Reinsurance, Litigation & Arbitration.

Caroline holds a Legal Executive Assistant Diploma with Distinction.

Christopher Sernas is an Associate on the Private Equity Investment Team, based in New York City. In this capacity, Chris assists in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities for the private equity strategy.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Chris has played a critical role in managing existing assets and evaluating new opportunities.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Chris worked at Wells Fargo, where he focused on technology, media and telecommunications investment banking.

Clara Henriquez is a Senior Accountant at Mubadala Capital, based in New York City. In this role, Clara is responsible for Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, T&E, monthly GL reconciliation.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Clara was with EMI Music Publishing and Sony Music Entertainment, where she focused on Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, T&E, GL reconciliation and Fixed Assets.

She brings several years of experience in accounting, with particular expertise in reconciliations. Clara holds a Bachelor of Arts from The City College of New York.

Cristina Ghenoiu is a Senior Principal in Mubadala Capital's healthcare venture business, based in San Francisco. In this role, Cristina is responsible for sourcing and investing in early and late stage healthcare deals, including supporting incubating companies.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Cristina has been instrumental in managing our portfolio and making investments across many therapeutic areas. Notably, she led Mubadala's investment in Capstan Therapeutics which was acquired by Abbvie in July 2025 for up to $2.1B.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Cristina was an investor with RA Capital and Longitude Capital, as well as an equity research analyst at TD Cowen.

She brings 15 years of experience in biotech investing and company creation. Cristina holds a Ph.D. in Chromosome and Cell Biology from Cornell University (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Mount Holyoke College, Magna cum laude and High Honor for Computational Quantum Chemistry Thesis (2004).

Daniel Florença is an End User Support Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Daniel is responsible for ensuring the operational continuity, technological efficiency of the Rio office.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Daniel has been instrumental in multiple IT global, local and cross-functional projects.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Daniel was with Tata Consultancy, where he focused on leads troubleshooting, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration for performance and safety excellence in offshore environments.

He brings 16 years of experience in financial markets and offshore oil and gas industries, with particular expertise in end-user support, infrastructure, cross-functional project, and IT systems operations across critical business environments. Daniel Florença holds a Bachelor of Information Systems.

Daniel Schiller is a Principal on the Brazil investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. Since joining the firm in 2024, he has focused on sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, as well as supporting value creation initiatives for portfolio companies.

Daniel began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse, where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital market transactions. He subsequently joined The Carlyle Group as a member of the private equity team dedicated to investments in South America. He later became a partner and investor at VELT Partners, a partnership focused on long-term investing in Brazilian equities.

He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo.

Daniel Sternick is the Senior Vice President, Taxation at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Mr. Sternick focuses primarily on U.S., Brazilian and UAE tax issues concerning Mubadala Capital's investments, helping cover investments led by the Brazil and Solutions platforms, as well as firmwide strategic transactions.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Daniel has made invaluable contributions to the strengthening of its Taxation function. He acted as tax lead in transformational strategic transactions such as Aquarian Capital and TWG. In Brazil, he led the tax efforts in the formation of BSOF III as well as in structuring investments by BSOF II and III. He has also been assessing the impacts of the Brazilian consumption tax reform on our assets. For Solutions, he has worked on the formation of Mubadala Capital Co-Investment Fund (MCCF), managed tax structuring for various transactions by Mubadala Capital Alternative Solutions (MCAS) and balance sheet, and acted as tax lead for Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners (ADCP). Daniel has also spearheaded an initiative to assess the impacts and implement processes relating to the application of the new UAE corporate income tax on Mubadala Capital's structures.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Daniel worked at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he covered private equity, real estate, and infrastructure investments in the Americas. Before that, Daniel worked with KPMG's US International Tax team (first in London, then in New York). He began his career as a tax attorney at Vieira Rezende Advogados (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). He brings close to 20 years of experience in International Taxation, with particular expertise in US international taxation.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), graduating with the Class of 2008. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M. in International Tax) degree from the New York University (Class of 2012).

Daniele Resemini is a Principal in the Solutions team of Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this capacity, Daniele oversees private equity and private credit direct investments.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Daniele has played a critical role in deepening the Solutions team's capabilities in direct investments. He has worked on multiple high-profile transactions across various industries and asset classes.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Daniele worked at Oaktree Capital Management, where he focused on private equity investments in Europe and North America. He brings eight years of experience in private investments across diverse sectors.

Daniele holds a MSc and BSc in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, graduating in 2017.

Danny Abbas is the Senior Vice President of User Experience at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He leads the delivery of IT support, ensuring smooth and effective interactions for all employees across our offices.

Since joining in 2024, Danny has helped evolve the IT support model with a strong focus on service quality and stakeholder engagement. He has enhanced collaboration between the Technology team and the business, and established new vendor partnerships.

Before Mubadala Capital, Danny served as an IT Director at New York University Abu Dhabi, delivering IT services and support to faculty, students, researchers, and staff. He brings over 25 years of experience in IT Service Management, with expertise in support operations, communications, and service delivery.

Danny holds a degree from the University of Wollongong (2001) and an MBA from the University of New South Wales (2019).

Darwish Almarar is an Analyst at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhab. In this role, Darwish is responsible for driving the early-stage investment process across North America, Europe, and Abu Dhabi: conducting market research, strategic outreach, and pipeline development, as well as screening fund, secondary, and co-investment opportunities. He is also involved in executing due diligence, investment underwriting, and the ongoing management of assets across the Solutions portfolio.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Darwish has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s investment strategy in key sectors and supporting the growth of its portfolio companies. He has served as a core analytical contributor on landmark transactions and cross-border partnerships; his work has spanned multiple mandates and fund offerings, including fund and manager evaluation, co-investment underwriting, development of investment recommendations, and ongoing evaluation and oversight of global investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Darwish held roles at Zero Two ADQ and ADNOC Global Trading, where he developed expertise in digital asset infrastructure/web3 development and institutional liquidity management and focused on growth investments in blockchain technology and institutional adoption of decentralized finance technology.

He brings over 4 years of experience in investment execution, asset management, and ventures, with particular expertise: financial analysis, portfolio strategy, and emerging technologies. He has spearheaded key work streams through commercial and technical due diligence, executed institutional capital-intensive initiatives, and supported the development of foundational fintech and blockchain infrastructure within Abu Dhabi’s ever-evolving digital ecosystem. Darwish holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, graduating with First Class Honors from Zayed University.

Dillon Booth is Vice President of Investor Relations at Mubadala Capital, based in New York City. In this role, he oversees investor relationship management and communications across the firm’s global investment platforms.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Dillon has played a key role in advancing the firm’s investor relations capabilities and engagement strategy, strengthening relationships with both existing and prospective investors. He has led fundraises across multiple strategies while enhancing reporting, communication frameworks, and capital-raising efforts.

Prior to Mubadala Capital, Dillon held investor relations roles at Abbott Capital Management and EnTrustPermal. He brings more than a decade of experience in private markets, with particular expertise in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and narrative development.

Dr. Emre Savas is the Vice President of Data at Mubadala Capital, based in London, UK. In this role, he oversees global Data & AI initiatives across all of the firm’s business units.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in January 2024, Emre has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s data-driven investment platforms through the application of enterprise AI solutions. He has led the development of proprietary data and software products, contributed to defining the firm’s AI strategy, and supported technology due diligence for investment teams.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Emre held roles at Accenture UK and within leading financial institutions, where he focused on designing data, AI, and software products for enterprise use. He brings over 12 years of experience in AI development and research across Financial Services and Robotics, with particular expertise in Big Data, Automated Reasoning and Planning.

Emre holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from King’s College London, awarded in 2018.

Rafic Makki is the head technologist of Mubadala Capital Ventures, based in San Francisco. In this capacity, Rafic oversees the science and technology strategy and roadmap for the Venture's platform global investments.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2018, Rafic has played a critical role in building the firms investment portfolio and networks in deep tech, including AI, TechBio, quantum and next generation computing.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Rafic served as Executive Fellow of GlobalFoundries, developing strategies for technology differentiation across technology process nodes. In academe, Rafic served as tenured Professor at The University of North Carolina Charlotte, Dean of IT at UAE University and founding VP for Research at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. In government, Rafic served as Head of Strategic Planning for the Abu Dhabi Education Council and senior advisor to the Director General.

Rafic holds a PhD degree in Engineering from Tennessee Tech University, has published over 60 research papers, four US patents and the recipient of numerous scientific awards including the First Citizens Research Scholar Medal Award in 2002 and the IBM Faculty Award in 2005.

Ebtesam Al Isawi is a Senior Executive Assistant at Mubadala Capital in Abu Dhabi, where she supports senior leadership through executive coordination, office management, and strategic administrative support.

Since joining in 2023, she has played a key role in streamlining leadership workflows, managing complex schedules, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Her work has been essential in facilitating executive communications and maintaining operational efficiency at the leadership level.

Previously, Ebtesam spent eight years at Abu Dhabi Global Market as Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer. There, she managed C-suite calendars, prepared executive reports, and supported Board-level operations during a period of organizational growth.

Eduardo Reinaux is an Associate on the Brazil investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Eduardo is responsible for asset management of current investments, and new investment opportunities in Brazil.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Eduardo has helped execute several transactions, most notably the acquisition of a controlling stake in Zamp S.A. (B3: ZAMP3), and Zamp's subsequent add-on acquisition of Subway in Brazil.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Eduardo worked at IG4 Capital, where he focused on special-situation private equity investments throughout Latin America. He has over seven years of investment experience, with particular expertise in private equity and infrastructure.

Fadi is the Head of Travel and Events for Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this capacity, Fadi is responsible for managing the company’s travel logistics and leading all events planning and execution.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Fadi has been instrumental in delivering an outstanding experience to our internal and external guests, creating partnership with leading agencies and venues to deliver a world-class-level events.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Fadi worked at Flash Entertainment where he focused on creating and delivering some of Abu Dhabi finest events like Abu Dhabi Grand Prix , FIFA, (CWC), Asian Football Cup and the UAE National day.

He brings 17 years of experience in the travel and events industry with particular expertise in creating partnerships with leading companies in the sector and deliver high-end experiences.

Fadi holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from Al-Ahliyya Amman University.

Fatima joined Mubadala in 2011 and is the Co-Head of Mubadala Capital Solutions, where she oversees the permanent capital strategy, Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners, and separately managed accounts. She has over thirteen years of experience in funds and direct private equity investments. Fatima also serves on the boards of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and K-MAC Enterprises.​

Fatmah AlRemeithi is an Executive Assistant at Mubadala Capital based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Fatmah is responsible for providing a high-level administrative support to senior executives, helping manage their schedules and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Gabriel Feitosa is an Associate on the Brazil investment team, based in São Paulo. In this capacity, Gabriel helps manage a portfolio of mature infrastructure assets and deploys capital in special situations across the Brazilian market, with a focus on compelling risk-adjusted opportunities.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Gabriel has played a critical role in optimizing the capital structures of key portfolio companies to navigate complex macroeconomic and regulatory environments. He has led multiple debt and equity capital raises, structuring innovative financing solutions tailored to the challenges of Brazil’s local markets.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Gabriel worked at GP Investments, where he focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital investing. He brings 5 years of experience in private markets with particular expertise in insurance, infrastructure, telecom, and technology.

Gina Velliquette is the Global Head of Human Capital at Mubadala Capital, based out of our New York office. In this capacity, Gina leads the firm’s global people and culture strategy, with a focus on enabling organizational growth, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning talent initiatives with business priorities.

Gina brings over 20 years of human capital experience across leading financial institutions. Before joining Mubadala Capital, she was Managing Director and Co-Head of Talent at Ares Management, where she oversaw global Talent Acquisition, Campus Recruitment, and the HR Business Partner functions. Her earlier career includes various HR roles at Goldman, Sachs & Co, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Gina graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Psychology. She is also a certified Health and Wellness Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Glen Kim is the Senior Associate on the Finance team at Mubadala Capital, based in San Francisco. In this capacity, Glen oversees the financial reporting for the US venture fund entities and the accounting operations for the San Francisco office.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Glen has played a critical role in ensuring the financial accuracy of the US venture funds and the San Francisco office. He has been instrumental in driving successful annual audits for the fund entities and serves as a core member of the valuation process for nearly 100 portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Glen worked at Top Tier Capital Partners, where he focused on managing the accounting for numerous venture fund entities. He brings multiple years of experience in ventures accounting, with particular emphasize in fund of funds structures.

Gogem Artug leads Information Technology for Mubadala Capital, the wholly-owned asset management arm of Mubadala Investment Company.  Based in Abu Dhabi, she oversees all aspects of Digital, Technology Services & Operations.

Gogem has over 20 years of diverse, hands-on experience in software design, development, implementation, IT operations, project/program management and IT Strategy & leadership. She possesses deep expertise in applying technological solutions to complex business problems with domain knowledge in several markets, including high volume financial systems, financial analytics, and advanced manufacturing.

Previously, Gogem held positions as Co-Founder, CTO and Director. Prior to Mubadala Capital, she served 10 years in Mubadala Investment Company as Director of Service Transition & Operations for Enterprise Technology & Services department.

Gogem has a BS from Boston University and is an Executive Leadership Alumni of Harvard Business School.

Guilherme Theobald is a Finance Associate of Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Guilherme oversees, from an accounting and finance perspective, Mubadala Capital’s third-party funds and their underlying Brazilian vehicles, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and operational excellence.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Guilherme has played a critical role in the Fund Operations team, collaborating across functions to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making speed, and embed best-practice controls. He has worked in multiple internal restructuring initiatives that unlocked significant cost efficiencies across a suite of funds, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to disciplined growth and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Guilherme worked at EY, where he focused on Brazilian Funds Audit and, more recently, Turim Multifamily office, where he focused on Offshore PE and VC Funds operations. He brings 6 years of experience in the Fund Industry, with particular expertise in Brazilian fund structure and accounting.

Gustavo Gomes Bortoloti de Azevedo is an Associate on the Brazil investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Gustavo is responsible for originating and executing private equity and special situations investments and overseeing portfolio company value creation and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Gustavo was with H.I.G. Capital, where he focused on leveraged-buyouts investments in Brazilian middle-market companies. He brings 9 years of experience in private equity, with particular expertise in telecommunications and structured transactions. Gustavo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical-Aeronautical Engineering with honors from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).

Gustavo Xavier is a Senior Associate on the Brazil investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Gustavo is responsible for originating and executing private equity investments across Brazil.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Gustavo has been instrumental in developing Acelen Renewables from scratch into Mubadala Capital's flagship renewable energy $15bn investment. He has led the investment all the way from thesis development through fundraising and execution.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Gustavo was with the Co-Founder and CFO at VOA Hotels, where he successfully built a R$200m GMV profitable business, overcoming the challenge of leading the company through the Pandemic.

He bring 12 years of experience in Investment Banking, Technology and Energy. Gustavo holds a Robotics Engineering degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, graduating in 2014.

Hamad Al Suwaidi is the Senior Vice President on the Finance team at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Hamad oversees the finance and funds operations across the Solutions platform.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Hamad has played a critical role in shaping the platform’s strategic direction and operational resilience. He has led the launch and financial operations of diversified, multi-asset investment funds, encompassing private equity, co-investments, venture capital, credit and public markets.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Hamad worked at Mubadala Investment Company, where he focused on public markets and Hedge funds. He brings over 15 years of experience in Finance, with particular expertise in asset management.

Hamad holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Khalifa University, graduating in 2010.

Hani Mourad is a Senior VP of Finance at Mubadala Capital based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Hani oversees the corporate accounting and reporting function, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. He leads the firm’s financial reporting processes and manages external audit engagements to align year-end audits with organizational and regulatory expectations.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Hani has played a critical role in enhancing the firm's financial integrity and operational transparency. He has led key initiatives to streamline reporting systems, strengthen audit readiness, and reinforce governance standards across the organization.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Hani worked at Sanad Group for six years and Mubadala Investment Company’s head office for three years in similar roles, overseeing financial reporting, consolidations and audit coordination. Before that, he spent five years with Deloitte, working across offices in Damascus, Luxembourg, and Abu Dhabi, where he audited top-tier financial institutions in the region. He brings over a decade of experience in finance, accounting, and assurance, with particular expertise in financial reporting, audit liaison, and IFRS compliance.

Hani is a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Damascus University, where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class.

Hasan Kermali is Vice President of Finance at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this capacity, Hasan supports the financial management and operations of several third-party private investment funds, with a primary focus on venture capital and involvement across select private equity strategies. He is also responsible for managing the UK financial reporting for group entities, ensuring compliance with local regulatory and accounting requirements. His role includes involvement in valuation processes, financial oversight, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support accurate and timely fund reporting. He regularly collaborates with legal, compliance, and investment teams to ensure alignment on fund structuring and operational matters.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Hasan has supported the financial operations of Mubadala Capital’s venture capital and private equity platforms, focusing on accurate reporting, investor relations, and financial planning to inform portfolio oversight and investment decisions.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Hasan worked at Appian Capital, a private equity fund focused on the natural resources sector. He supported the finance function across the full lifecycle of the firm’s first fund and contributed to the launch and scaling of subsequent funds, as AUM grew from $400 million to over $1.2 billion. Reporting directly to the CFO, he contributed to fund operations, investor reporting, and financial oversight within a lean finance team. He brings particular expertise in fund structuring, financial reporting, investor operations, and valuation within private investment environments.

Hasan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc Economics from Queen Mary University of London, graduating in 2015.

Henry Kim is a Director and Head Trader at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this role, Henry oversees all trading activity across multiple asset classes and investment vehicles within the platform.

With a finance career spanning over three decades, Henry brings deep expertise in global markets and multi-asset execution. Since joining Mubadala Capital, he has played a key role in supporting investment performance through disciplined execution and operational excellence across the firm’s public and private market strategies.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Henry was a Senior Equity Trader at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), where he executed trades for both passive and active equity strategies across Japan, Asia ex-Japan, Pan-Europe, and EMEA markets.

Hiba Shanti is a Specialist on the Finance team at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Hiba works closely with the treasury, procurement, and management reporting teams, contributing to financial analysis, data interpretation, and performance insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Hiba has supported key financial operations and analytics that enhance the firm’s internal coordination and reporting efficiency.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Hiba held internship roles at Protiviti and Bureau Veritas. She brings around three years of experience in finance and business analysis. She has also successfully passed CFA Level 2, further demonstrating her technical acumen and commitment to professional development.

Ibrahim Ajami is the Head of Ventures at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this capacity, Ibrahim oversees Mubadala Capital’s global ventures strategy, with a focus on investments in technology and healthcare.

Since joining Mubadala in 2006, Ibrahim has played a critical role in shaping the firm’s innovation and growth agenda. He launched the Mubadala Capital ventures platform in San Francisco in 2016, leading a cross disciplinary team that has invested in over 100 companies, and forging strategic partnerships with global technology investors. Prior to launching the ventures platform, Ibrahim built and led Mubadala’s strategy in semiconductors and advanced technology. He was a founding member of GlobalFoundries, a leading global semiconductor manufacturing company.

Ibrahim began his career working for various companies in Silicon Valley and for Occidental Petroleum in Abu Dhabi. He brings over two decades of experience in technology investment and strategic development, with particular expertise in global venture ecosystems.

Ibrahim holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Isabel Feliz is a Senior Executive Assistant at Mubadala Capital, based in New York City. In this role, Isabel is responsible for supporting the Chief Investment Officer.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2025, Isabel has been instrumental in optimizing the workflow of the Chief Investment Officer ensuring their ability to focus on innovation and prioritize relationships with clients and limited partners. Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Isabel was with Vista Equity Partners, where she focused on administration in private credit.

Isabela Favacho is a Finance Analyst at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Isabela supports senior leadership within the Brazil Finance team, acting as a reliable point of contact across treasury management, accounting routines, procurement operations, and audit processes.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019 as an intern, Isabela has played a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives with measurable impact on process efficiency. She has led implementation of Pipefy workflows to optimize payment and procurement processes, enhancing both efficiency and internal controls.

Jack Winfield is Legal Counsel to the Capital Markets team, based in London. In this capacity, Jack oversees deal execution and documentation for debt raises funding Mubadala Capital's Private Equity strategy.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jack spent five years as an Associate at Latham & Watkins in London, where he advised borrowers, sponsors and lenders on buy-out financings in the leveraged and infrastructure markets. Jack also spent time on secondment to the leveraged finance teams of Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

Jack holds a master's degree from St Catherine's College, University of Oxford, and a bachelor's degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Jack has been a qualified solicitor of the courts of England and Wales since 2019.

Jacob Finn is an Associate on the Business Development and Investor Relations team, based in New York. In this capacity, Jacob supports global capital raising and business development initiatives, working closely with teams across the firm’s investment platforms to strengthen institutional relationships

Since joining Mubadala Capital, Jacob has played a key role in expanding the firm’s institutional network and deepening relationships with key stakeholders.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jacob worked at Athos Partners, a boutique placement agent specializing in alternative investments. He began his career in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Jefferies, where he advised real estate companies on both public and private capital raising efforts, as well as strategic transactions.

Jacob holds a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Florida. During his time at the Florida, he was also a student-athlete, playing for the Florida Gator football team.

Jaimie Leung Shing is Senior Legal Counsel at Mubadala Capital, where her work focuses on fund structuring, fund financing, and corporate governance across the firm’s investment platforms.

Since joining in 2017, she has been closely involved in supporting Mubadala Capital’s strategic initiatives and growth, working with investment teams and senior management on cross-border structures as well as group reorganisations and restructurings.

Before joining Mubadala Capital, Jaimie practiced in Guernsey and later at a top-tier international law firm in London, advising global fund managers and financial institutions on investment funds, financial services, and regulatory matters. A UK-qualified solicitor and graduate of the University of Manchester, Jaimie has built her career across Guernsey, London, Abu Dhabi, and New York, giving her a broad international perspective on investment and governance matters.

Jake Barach is a Vice President on the Investor Relations team at Mubadala Capital, based in New York City. In this capacity, Jake oversees investor communications and relationship management across the firm’s global investment platforms.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2025, Jake has played a critical role in enhancing the firm's investor engagement efforts and expanding its capital base. He has led various initiatives to strengthen existing and prospective investor relationships, contributing to the firm's growth and the expansion of its global investor base.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jake worked at American Securities and DIGITAL, where he focused on investor relationships, marketing, fundraising and investment activities. James Peck is a Director in Mubadala Capital's Capital Formation team, looking after investor relationships across Europe. James also leads Mubadala Capital's co-investment program, syndicating flagship opportunities from our various strategies on a single asset basis.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, James worked in Richard Bransons family office developing the family's private portfolio and raising capital for various Virgin companies and strategic projects.

James started his career investment banking at Robert W Baird in London before moving into corporate development roles at Skype, Amazon and Naspers.

James is a Director in the Mubadala Capital Tax team, based in London. In this capacity, James covers various taxation aspects across all platforms and geographies that Mubadala Capital covers.

Since joining in 2025, James has been involved in various Mubadala Capital transactions, particularly those in Europe and the US.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, James worked in Abu Dhabi at ADQ where he was the Head of Tax and before that James was a tax partner with PwC in the UAE, New York and London. He brings over 25 years of experience in international tax, focused on transactions and asset management.

Janice Rabor is the Senior Associate on the Finance team at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Janice supports in the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the organization.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Janice has played a critical role in ensuring the adherence to internal control relevant to financial reporting, completion of several audit engagements, and financial reporting system implementation. This led to enhanced financial transparency, improved compliance with regulatory standards, and a more efficient and reliable reporting process across the organization.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Janice worked at BDO Chartered Accountants, where she focused on audit and advisory engagements across a range of industries. She brings 10+ years of experience with particular expertise in financial reporting and analysis.

Jean Philippe Vin is a Senior Vice President on the Compliance team at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Jean oversees compliance at Mubadala Capital’s Brazil office, as well as compliance, internal investigations, internal controls, enterprise risk management, audits, and data privacy across the firm’s portfolio companies.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2018, Jean has played a critical role in strengthening the firm’s compliance culture and enhancing the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) function at the portfolio level, overseeing 11 Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committees within the portfolio.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jean worked at PwC’s Forensic Services department, where he focused on fraud investigations, anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) due diligence, and the implementation of corporate compliance programs. He previously held roles in the compliance and internal audit departments of Vale and Anglo American. He brings 18 years of experience in compliance, risk management, and corporate governance, with particular expertise in the Brazilian regulatory environment, including CVM requirements.

Jean holds a degree in Accounting from Universidade Cândido Mende, and is certified as a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), LPEC (Leading Professional in Ethics & Compliance), and CCEP-I (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – International).

Jennifer Ricci is a Senior Legal Counsel in Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this capacity, Jenn oversees legal matters related to third party capital fund formation across Mubadala Capital's businesses.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Jenn has played a critical role in structuring investment vehicles, navigating complex regulatory frameworks, and aligning fund terms with sponsor goals and investor expectations.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jenn worked at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, where she focused on fund formation. She was an investment management associate at Paul, Weiss and Davis Polk and brings 10 years of experience in investment funds.

Jesse Tan is an Associate on the Solutions team at Mubadala Capital. Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jesse was an Associate at Barclays in London, working on M&A and corporate finance advisory across the TMT and Real Estate sectors.

Joanna Pavlakis is the Co-Head of People Experience and Wellbeing at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this role, Joanna is responsible for shaping and driving the firm’s global people experience and wellbeing strategy, fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and holistic employee support across all offices.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Joanna has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s employee experience and wellbeing agenda. She has led or supported initiatives focused on embedding wellness into the employee lifecycle, enhancing organizational culture, and driving strategic talent programs in alignment with business priorities.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Joanna was with Schonfeld Strategic Advisors as the U.S. HR Director, where she aligned HR strategy with business goals, led talent acquisition and retention, managed compensation and benefits, and ensured compliance with U.S. employment laws. She oversaw performance management, employee relations, DEI initiatives, and HR operations while maintaining discretion and responsiveness in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. She also collaborated closely with global HR teams to harmonize policies and support cross-border workforce planning, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and safeguarding the firm’s people-related risk and culture.

She brings 17 years of experience in human capital management and organizational development, with particular expertise in strategic HR leadership, employee wellbeing, talent strategy, and cross-border workforce planning. Joanna holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management.

Joao Roque is a Vice President on the Finance team at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Joao is responsible for overseeing the finance and operations of the funds in Brazil. Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Joao has been instrumental in completing the fund reporting process for Brazil funds. He has supported the funds flow for several acquisitions in Brazil.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Joao was with Brookfield, where he focused on funds and operations.

He brings 20 years of experience in fund accounting, finance and operations and auditing in Brazil and several other LatAm markets, with particular expertise in risk management. Joao holds a Bachelor in Economics from IBMEC. Joao earned his MBA from Lausanne Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Jonno Elliott is a Director on the Strategic Partnerships & Acquisitions team at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Jonno is responsible for assessing strategic partnership and acquisition opportunities across the asset manager.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Jonno has been instrumental in helping to manage and support the firm's venture capital portfolio. He has led or supported investments across a range of technology-enabled enterprise and consumer businesses most notably Klarna, Getir and TreasurySpring.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Jonno was with the Virgin Group, where he built and managed their venture capital and alternative investments portfolios.

He brings 20 years of experience as a multi-disciplinary investor across venture capital, growth equity, public markets and alternatives. Jonno holds a first-class post-graduate degree in financial analysis and portfolio management from the University of Cape Town, and has been a CFA charterholder since 2011.

Joshua joined Mubadala Capital in 2024 and is based in San Francisco, where he focuses on early- and growth-stage technology investments.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Joshua was an investment banker at Centerview Partners where he advised on a range of strategic transactions across technology and healthcare. He also contributed to the development of Centerview’s emerging cybersecurity practice, leading market research initiatives to support new business origination.

Joshua graduated from the University of Chicago as a Dougan Scholar and holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Economics.

José Oliveira is a Senior Associate on Mubadala Capital's Brazil investment team, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, José is responsible for overseeing Mubadala Capital’s third-party funds and their associated Brazilian investments from an accounting and finance standpoint, ensuring strong governance, precise financial reporting, and high operational standards.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, José has been an integral part of the FundOps team, collaborating closely with colleagues to enhance operational procedures and drive more efficient decision-making. Beyond his core operational duties, he has contributed to several internal restructuring projects - including corporate reorganizations - helping to simplify processes, boost efficiency, and reduce costs across multiple funds.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, José held roles as an auditor at Deloitte and, more recently, as a Controller at Brookfield Asset Management. He brings 15 years of experience in private equity, with deep expertise in fund management and operations.

José holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, graduating in 2005 and a MBA in Finance from Universidade Federal Fluminense.

Julia Maffei is a Senior Associate on Mubadala Capital's Brazil investment team, based in Rio de Janeiro. In her role, Julia is responsible for evaluating, executing, and ongoing management of private equity investments.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Julia has played a key role in advancing the firm's strategic initiatives. She has contributed to notable transactions, including Mubadala Capital's investment in Aquarian, as well as the formation of strategic partnerships with Silver Rock and TWG Global. In addition to supporting these efforts, Julia has actively participated in assessing new investment opportunities in Brazil and plays a central role in managing Mubadala Capital's investment in Flow, a company with an advanced project to launch a new stock exchange in Brazil.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Julia was part of L Catterton's Latam Fund, where she focused on consumer-oriented private equity investments across Latin America. She began her career at Temasek, concentrating on minority growth investment in both Brazil and the United States.

She brings several years of experience in private equity investments across Latin America, with expertise in consumer-focused investment strategies and cross-boarder deal execution. Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FGV – Fundação Getúlio Vargas. "

Karoline Solem is the Vice President Mubadala Capital's Communications team, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Karoline oversees all communications activities across the Brazil strategy, in addition to supporting the Business Development and Investor Relations functions for Brazil related fundraisers.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2017, Karoline has been instrumental in shaping the brand in Brazil. She spearheaded the launch and expansion of Mubadala Capital’s communications program - crafting strategic narratives, establishing media relations frameworks, and driving stakeholder engagement tailored to Brazil. In addition, Karoline established Mubadala Capital's active social investment program in country.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Karoline worked for the Rio2016 Olympic Committee and earlier in her career, worked for Occidental Petroleum as an HR Administration Manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where she led the planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive HR strategy. She brings 17 years of experience across a diverse set of industries and functions.

Karoline holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Concordia University.

Katie Green is Head of Sustainability at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this role, Katie is responsible for leading the firm's sustainability strategy and program.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital in 2025, Katie was with Oaktree Capital, where she led sustainability for the firm in Europe. Prior to this she spent over a decade at Schroders in a range of sustainability, investment and client roles.

She brings over 13 years of experience in sustainability and asset management, across public and private markets investments, with particular expertise in building and executing sustainability strategy. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She also holds an MBA from Imperial College Business School and is a CFA charterholder.

Kelly Thomson is an Executive Director and Head of Capital Markets for Mubadala Capital. Based in New York, she oversees debt financings for Mubadala Capital platforms and portfolio companies and manages Mubadala Capital’s lender relationships. Kelly is an observer on the Mubadala Capital Investment Committee and is a Board Member of portfolio companies KMAC and Porto Sudeste.

Kelly joined Mubadala in 2008 and was based in Abu Dhabi for 10 years. Before moving to New York, Kelly was based in San Francisco and helped manage Mubadala’s investment in the Softbank Vision Fund. Kelly created and currently leads the Investing In Women initiative for Mubadala Capital and previously conceived the Mubadala Women Retention and Progression (mWRAP) initiative at Mubadala.

Kelly has a broad expertise in corporate and asset financings, refinancings and restructurings across both bank and capital markets. Prior to joining Mubadala, Kelly worked for 10 years at Citi in both London and New York. She has a BA from Drew University and an MBA from the Darden School at University of Virginia and is on the Darden School Foundation Board of Trustees.

Kelly Yu is a Principal on the Private Equity team in New York. Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Kelly has worked with several of the firm’s portfolio companies and helps lead new investments across the Private Equity platform. She is responsible for sourcing & evaluating investment opportunities and post-close portfolio management, including Mubadala Capital’s investment in the Bugaboo Group.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Kelly worked at ZX Ventures, where she focused on investments in the food and consumer space, and at KKR & Co. as a member of the Credit team. She began her career with Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong.

Kelly holds a BSc from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Kerry Osborne is a Senior EA & Office Manager in Mubadala Capital's London Office. In this capacity, Kerry oversees the London Support Team and manages the running of the Mubadala Capital Office floors. Joining the London Office in 2019, Kerry played a key role in the design and fit-out of the London Office space, as well as managing the growth of the Support Team for both Ventures and PE platforms.

Prior to joining the London Office, Kerry worked for Mubadala Capital in their Abu Dhabi Office as Executive Support.

A Business & Marketing graduate, Kerry originally hails from Canada, where she began her career in the Homebuilding Industry in the Toronto Area, and then established and ran her own Marketing Agency, before moving to England.

Kevin Kokko is the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Acquisitions at Mubadala Capital, Head of the New York Office, Co-Head of the Private Equity business and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Since joining Mubadala in 2008, Kevin has played a central role in shaping the firm’s growth, initially establishing the Private Equity business out of Abu Dhabi before taking on the leadership of Business Development & Investor Relations out of New York in 2019 and most recently building the Strategic Partnerships & Acquisitions function. In his current role, Kevin oversees Mubadala Capital’s efforts to identify, structure, and execute transformative partnerships and acquisitions across its global investment platform.

Before joining Mubadala, Kevin started his career in investment banking at Citigroup in Toronto and London and spent several years working with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, first at the Africa Governance Initiative, a non-profit focused on public sector capacity building, and later as Director of Advisory and Principal Strategies at Tony Blair Associates.

Kevin holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Khaled Awad is Mubadala Capital’s Chief Financial Officer, where he oversees all operational and financial reporting functions for the business.

He joined Mubadala Investment Company in 2007 as financial controller, where he supported the finance team in major M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Khaled was an external auditor (Public Accountant) for BDO International in Saudi Arabia from 2001 to 2007, where he was in charge of major audit engagements in different sectors.

He graduated from the Yarmouk University with a B.S. in Accounting, and is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Khalifa Abushousha is a Principal in the Mubadala Capital Solutions team. Prior to joining the Solutions team, Khalifa spent 5 years with the Mubadala Capital Private Equity team focusing on direct private equity investments in North America.

Before joining Mubadala Capital, Khalifa was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance team at Aldar Properties, a publicly listed real estate development and asset management company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Khalifa holds a BA in Investment and Finance in Real Estate from University of Reading.

Kumar Venkateswaran joined Mubadala Capital in 2021 and is an Executive Director on the Mubadala Capital Solutions team in Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Kumar worked at sovereign wealth fund Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) in Abu Dhabi for seven and a half years. At ADIA, he was Head of Americas for the Equity Opportunities strategy which made high conviction, concentrated, long term-oriented equity investments on a global basis.

Before joining ADIA, Kumar spent over a decade working at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in the U.S. where he was a Portfolio Manager on the Growth Equity team, making high conviction investments across a range of industries.

Prior to becoming an investor, Kumar worked in the technology industry designing and building software at firms including Microsoft and Accenture.

Kumar holds an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is also a CFA charter holder.

Laila Alnuaimi is a Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, Laila is responsible for executing co-investment opportunities across assets classes with a focus on private market opportunities. Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, Laila has been instrumental in the development of the Solution team. She supported the launch of its products, including MCAS, the evergreen alternative assets fund, and MCCF I, the dedicated private equity co-investment fund.

Prior to joining the Solutions team, Laila was part of the analyst rotation program where she dedicated her first two years at the firm across different teams and strategies.

She brings 6 years of experience in private and public markets investing, across both fund and direct strategies, with particular expertise in conducting due diligence for direct minority investment opportunities. Laila holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University, graduating in 2018.

Leonardo Cunha is a Director at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this role, Leonardo is responsible for originating and executing private equity investments across Latin America, as well as overseeing portfolio companies in the region.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2016, Leonardo has been instrumental in developing Mubadala Capital's operations in Brazil. He has led or supported significant transactions, including investments in Acelen, Acelen Renewables, Porto Sudeste, and Flowa (ATG).

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Leonardo was part of the investment banking divisions of Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank.

Leonardo brings 18 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduating in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas-EAESP, graduating in 2008.

Leonardo Yamamoto is a Partner at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments across multiple sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and consumer goods.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2017, Leonardo has played a central role in expanding the firm’s presence in Brazil. His track record includes over ten transactions, including the privatization and development of Acelen, operator of the Mataripe Refinery in Bahia, and the creation of Acelen Renewables, an integrated biorefinery project focused on producing sustainable aviation fuel from a native Brazilian plant.

Lima Miah is an Executive Assistant at Mubadala Capital based in London. In this capacity, Lima supports the Business Development & Investor Relations (BDIR) and Capital Markets teams, managing complex international roadshows, organising global conferences, and overseeing high-level executive scheduling.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in January 2022, Lima has delivered consistent, high-level support across investor roadshows, executive operations, and internal events, playing a pivotal role in ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Lima served as Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Aga Khan Foundation, and previously worked as a Paralegal, gaining experience across both leadership support and the legal sector. She brings nearly a decade of experience as an Executive Assistant, with particular expertise in senior stakeholder coordination, event logistics, and operational support within fast-paced environments.

Lima holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from Kingston University.

Lindsay Fainé is the Head of Taxation at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this capacity, Lindsay oversees all aspects of the firm’s global tax strategy, structuring, and compliance across its various businesses.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2018, Lindsay has played a critical role in shaping the firm’s tax infrastructure to support its growth and evolving investment strategies. She has led the implementation of efficient cross-border structures, enhanced global tax governance frameworks, and advised on numerous complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Lindsay was a a partner at an international law firm, where she specialized in advising private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and multinational corporations on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters. She brings 20 years of experience in private equity, international tax, and fund structuring, with particular expertise in cross-border investment planning, tax-efficient fund formation, and navigating evolving global tax regulations.

Lindsay holds an undergraduate degree from Drake University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

Lucas Radal joined the Solutions team at Mubadala Capital in August 2024.

Previously, Lucas spent 11 years at Ardian in New York as a Director in the Secondaries & Primaries team, where he focused on sourcing, due diligence, and execution of both primary and secondary fund investments.

Lucas holds a Master of Science in International Finance from IAE Aix-Marseille in France.

Luke Nicklin is a Director on the Ventutes investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in San Francisco. In this capacity, Luke focuses on early stage and growth investments in the fintech and insurtech sectors as part of the firm’s U.S. Ventures business.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2016, Luke has played a critical role in expanding the firm’s technology investment footprint. He has led Mubadala Capital’s investments in several innovative companies, including Abrol Market, Brex, C2FO, Cardless, Gabi, Parkside Securities, and Welcome.Tech.

Luke joined Mubadala Investment Company back in 2011 as part of our semiconductor business. During his semiconductor journey, Luke spent 18 months as a member of the management team at GlobalFoundries where he drove several critical corporate development initiatives. Earlier in his career he held roles in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, both in London and in his native New Zealand. He brings over two decades of experience in financial services and technology investment, with particular expertise in scaling early-stage ventures and navigating complex capital markets.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the University of Auckland.

Magnus Fishbourne is the Head of Procurement and Senior Vice President for IT Strategic Planning and Governance at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this capacity, Magnus oversees various functions including enterprise-wide procurement, strategic IT planning, governance, and IT PMO - ensuring alignment of both technology and procurement with the firm’s objectives and operations.

Since joining the Mubadala group in 2018, Magnus has played a critical role in delivering cross-functional transformation initiatives, modernizing IT governance, and strengthening procurement capabilities across the organization. He has led significant transformation programs, including the development of enterprise IT governance frameworks, the execution of long-range technology roadmaps, and the enhancement of procurement processes—ensuring alignment with Mubadala Capital’s strategic objectives and strengthening operational control across its global investment platform.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Magnus held multiple senior IT leadership roles within the UAE and UK. In these roles, he led large-scale IT transformations, developed enterprise IT strategies, modernized infrastructure and operating models, and oversaw the implementation of organization-wide systems and governance frameworks.

With over 25 years of experience in technology, strategy, procurement, transformation delivery, and program management, Magnus brings deep expertise in aligning IT to complex organizational needs across financial and education sectors.

Magnus holds an MBA from the University of Leicester and a BA hons in Sociology from the University of the West of England.

Mahra Alshumais is a Compliance Analyst at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, Mahra supports the implementation and enhancement of the firm’s compliance program, with a focus on policy development, regulatory monitoring, internal training, and governance reporting. She collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with ADGM and international regulatory frameworks, contributing to audits, internal reviews, and compliance risk assessments.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Mahra has been instrumental in advancing internal compliance initiatives and reinforcing the firm’s culture of ethical conduct and regulatory integrity. Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Mahra was with SHUAA Capital, where she focused on KYC reviews, risk evaluations, and enhancing internal compliance policies to meet regulatory standards and reduce risks.

She brings 2 years of experience in investment management regulatory and corporate compliance, with particular expertise in internal controls, regulatory frameworks, and compliance training. Mahra holds a bachelor's degree in Economics & Management from Sorbonne University, graduating in 2021

Majid Sharif is a Compliance Officer at Mubadala Capital and helps ensure that the business complies with applicable UK, EU and US laws and regulations globally.

With nearly a decade of experience in financial services regulatory compliance, Majid leads the design and execution of Mubadala Capital’s global compliance monitoring programme, aligning regulatory obligations across all business units and international offices. He serves as the firm’s primary liaison with UK and select EU regulators, and provides strategic guidance to senior leadership and investment teams.

Before joining Mubadala Capital, Majid worked at ACA Group, where he advised hedge funds and private equity firms on UK and European regulatory matters. His expertise spans a wide range of regulatory regimes, projects and initiatives, including: helping firms understand and implement a tailored compliance infrastructure / framework (including a Code of Ethics) and completing various regulatory projects on AIFMD, MiFID II, conflicts of interest; investment allocation; risk management; market abuse; trading and best execution; MiFIR transaction reporting; EMIR; AML and governance.

Majid is an English-qualified Solicitor, holds a MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law, London and holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Hertfordshire. He also earned a Diploma in Investment Compliance from the Chartered Institute of Securities of Investments (CISI) and completed the Leadership Professional in Ethics & Compliance (LPEC) certification.

Manav Mody is a Private Equity Analyst based in London. In this capacity, he assists with deal evaluation and asset management across our European portfolio.

Manav started his career as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at PJT Partners in their New York office. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University, Abu Dhabi.

Marcelo Timm is a Senior Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this capacity, Marcelo is responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments as part of the firm’s investment team.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, Marcelo has played a critical role in driving key investments and supporting the growth of portfolio companies across multiple sectors. Maryam AlAli is the Head of Fund Investments at Mubadala Capital Solutions, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Maryam is responsible for originating and executing on fund investments across North America and Europe.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2014, Maryam has focused on building a diversified portfolio of fund investments and advancing fund relationships across key geographies. She has led multiple fund investments and represents Mubadala Capital on various LP advisory boards across the portfolio.

She brings 12 years of experience in relevant investment strategies, with particular expertise in fund sourcing, due diligence and asset management. Maryam holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University, graduating in 2013.

Matt Cestaro is a Senior Vice President at Mubadala Capital, based in New York, where he is responsible for managing the Finance and Operations functions of the firm’s Private Equity funds.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, Matt has played a key role in building the foundational infrastructure of the Finance and Operations team. He has led and supported numerous transactions and operational transformation initiatives across the Private Equity platform.

Matt Kim is a Director in Mubadala Capital's Private Equity team, based in New York. In this capacity, Matt focuses on investment activities across North America and various sectors including sports, media and entertainment.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Matt was an investment professional at Bank of America Capital Advisors, where he evaluated private equity investment opportunities globally across the buyout, growth equity, and venture capital asset classes.

Max Holnaicher is a Senior Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this capacity, Max focuses on investments in global technology leaders, with a particular focus on software investments.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, Max has played a critical role in shaping the firms technology investment strategy. He has led or co-sponsored over 40 transactions (primary and secondary investments, bolt-on acquisitions, spin-off & divestitures, debt refinancings, equity recapitalization, initial public offerings) across 10 platform investments, including Anconda (AI platform), HiveMQ (data infrastructure), Klarna (buy-now-pay-later), Owkin (federated learning software), Seqera (data pipelines) and Storyblok (content management).

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Max worked at Torch Partners, where he focused on advising technology companies such as JustEat (Euronext-listed), Zoopla (LSE-listed) and Healthcare X.0 on raising capital and M&A transactions. He was also previously VP Finance & Strategy at a founder-owned software company that was acquired by a private equity. He brings 10 years of experience in technology investing, with particular expertise in software and infrastructure.

Max holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School and a Masters Degree in Finance from the London School of Economics, graduating in 2015.

Maxime joined Mubadala in 2008 and was a founding member of Mubadala Capital in 2011, where he currently is a Senior Partner and Co-Head of Mubadala Capital Solutions, as well as a member of the Mubadala Capital Investment Committee.

Since the founding of Mubadala Capital, Maxime has held a number of senior positions across the firm, most recently acting as the Head of Public Investments, where he was overseeing Mubadala Capital’s public market initiatives. Prior experiences at Mubadala Capital includes having worked on a number of private market transactions.

Prior to joining Mubadala in 2008, Maxime worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Dresdner Kleinwort and R.W. Baird in London.

Melissa Portolesi is a Paralegal at Mubadala Capital, having previously been based in the London office and now located in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Melissa is responsible for assisting and supporting Mubadala Capital's Platforms and Business Units with the preparation of legal documentation.

Melissa joined Mubadala Capital in 2019 as an Executive Assistant supporting the Europe Ventures Platform, subsequently transitioning to the Legal & Governance team as a Paralegal.

Melissa is well-acquainted with the Mubadala family, having previously worked in Mubadala Investment Company's Legal & Compliance Unit as a Legal Assistant for nearly 3 years. Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Melissa was employed with prominent international law firms in Australia, London and Abu Dhabi.

She brings over 20 years of experience within the legal field, with particular expertise in Corporate, Leasing and Conveyancing. Melissa holds a Certificate in Conveyancing and Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Tafe SA, Australia.

Mohamed Bin Amaar is an Analyst in the Mubadala Capital Solutions team, based in Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining, Mohamed was a Treasury Associate in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s trading and capital markets desk, mainly working on fixed income, public equities, and Shariah compliant derivative instruments.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Concentration in Finance, from New York University Abu Dhabi.

Mohamed Tazi is a Director in the Private Equity investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in London. He leads the team’s investment activities in France. Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2014, Mohamed has been involved in several investments in the French market, including Vivalto Santé, DomusVi, and Galileo Global Education. He recently led the successful exit of Looping Group and currently serves on the board of Babel, a Spanish digital consulting company within the firm’s European portfolio.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Mohamed was part of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Citi in Paris, where he advised on cross-border transactions across a range of industries.

Mohammed Hussain is a Director based in Abu Dhabi, where he leads Mubadala Capital’s Business Development team in the MENA region.

Mohammed joined Mubadala Capital in 2012 as an M&A lawyer and focused his career on cross-border mergers and acquisitions including private equity, venture capital, emerging markets investments and funds. Mohammed moved to the Business Development team in 2023 and has led fundraising efforts in the MENA region, in addition to leading Mubadala Capital’s private wealth distribution.

Previously, Mohammed spent two years as an associate at Shearman & Sterling’s mergers and acquisitions practice in New York.

Mohammed holds an LLM from Duke University School of Law and is a licensed attorney in the State of New York.

Murat Konuk is a Senior Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this role, Murat is responsible for originating and executing private equity investments across North America.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, he was a Principal at Blackstone and Vice President at Castle Harlan.

Murat graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis.

Murtaza Hussain is a Senior Technical Analyst at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Murtaza is responsible for delivering projects and milestones across business applications, while managing changes, integrations, and enhancements in systems supporting critical business processes. His focus spans payment processing systems, document management platforms, fund management solutions, and customer relationship management systems.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in July 2023, Murtaza has been instrumental in implementing major and minor changes with strong quality control, while streamlining business processes and resolving technical challenges across existing data workflows. He also actively monitors a range of systems to ensure the seamless operation of payment activities and other core business functions.

Prior to Mubadala Capital, Murtaza was a Senior Applications Developer at Shuaa Capital based in DIFC/ADGM, where he focused on designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs.

Murtaza brings 20 years of experience in requirement analysis, coding, programming, project management, code review, and change/deployment management. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science (MCS), majoring in Software Engineering, which he completed in 2006.

Nadine Mazhar is a Senior Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. She is responsible for executing private equity investments and driving value creation across the food portfolio in North America.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2015, Nadine has played a key role in shaping the firm’s strategy in the food sector. She has helped lead and actively manage the team’s investments in Peterson Farms, KMAC, Tandem Foods, and Thrive Freeze Dry.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Nadine was with Citigroup, where she focused on M&A advisory across various sectors in the Canadian and Middle Eastern markets, based in Toronto and Dubai, respectively.

She brings over 13 years of investing experience across the North American middle-market space, with a particular focus on manufacturing, B2B, and multi-unit retail companies. Nadine holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2012.

Nassir Dada is an Associate in the Mubadala Capital Solutions team, based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Nassir supports the execution of investment strategies and contributes to transaction and portfolio analysis across the platform’s investment initiatives.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Nassir has played a critical role in advancing the team’s investment mandate through his involvement in evaluating and executing bespoke and complex investment opportunities across a diverse range of asset classes and geographies.

Natalia Camargo Biedermann is a Legal Director based in New York. In this capacity, Natalia oversees legal execution and structuring of Mubadala Capital’s private equity investments globally, with a particular focus on cross-border M&A, governance, and asset management across Europe and North America.

Natalia began her Mubadala Capital career in Rio de Janeiro, later relocated to Abu Dhabi, and is currently based in New York, reflecting her broad exposure to international deal-making and legal systems.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2017, Natalia has played a critical role in executing several M&A transactions and overseeing legal matters across a diverse portfolio, including infrastructure, financial services, education, logistics, media, and consumer sectors. She has led the legal strategy on high-profile acquisitions and divestments across the U.S., Europe and Brazil, as well as the design and implementation of legal and compliance teams in portfolio companies.

Natalia has also served on the boards of several portfolio companies, bringing legal and strategic oversight to management teams operating in regulated, capital-intensive, and cross-border environments.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Natalia worked at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP in London, where she focused on M&A and infrastructure transactions in Latin America, Europe, and Africa, advising a global client base. She brings over a decade of experience in complex cross-border investments, private equity, and infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in FDI regimes, regulatory risk, and legal team leadership.

Natalia holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science and completed the Leadership in Corporate Counsel program at Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practice in both England & Wales and Brazil.

Natalia Moreno is the Global Head of Communications at Mubadala Capital, where she leads the firm’s global marketing, communications, and brand strategy across its investment platforms and geographies. She joined Mubadala Capital in 2020 to build the communications function for its Ventures business in San Francisco, later expanding her remit to shape and scale the firm’s global narrative.

Prior to Mubadala Capital, Natalia advised a range of VCs, technology companies, startups, global media brands, and philanthropic institutions while at a boutique strategic communications firm in Silicon Valley. She previously led cross-functional corporate initiatives at Univision, focused on organizational transformation and strategic alignment. Natalia began her career at Brunswick Group in Washington, D.C., supporting Fortune 500 clients on public affairs, crisis communications, and investor relations.

Nathan Huynh is a Private Equity Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this capacity, Nathan is responsible for executing investments across North America, supporting the full investment lifecycle from sourcing to portfolio management.

Nicole Orders is a Senior Legal Counsel at Mubadala Capital, based in San Francisco. In this role, Nicole is responsible for structuring, negotiating and closing Mubadala Capital’s venture-capital transactions globally, while providing ongoing legal oversight for the firm’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, Nicole was with Cooley LLP in Palo Alto, where she focused on emerging-company and venture-capital work, advising founders and investors on seed-through-IPO financings, M&A exits and board governance matters.

Nicole brings a wealth of corporate law experience, with particular expertise in structured transactions, cross-border deal execution and board-level governance for high-growth enterprises. She holds a JD from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Nicole Ryan is a Vice President in Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this capacity, Nicole oversees Finance and Operations of the Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partner Funds.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2023, Nicole has played a critical role in driving operational excellence and financial planning across the funds. Nicole is originally from London and has over 20 years experience providing support in various sectors such as Banking, Commercial Property and Legal. Prior to joining the Mubadala Capital London Office in January 2024, Nic spent many years in Private Practice as a Corporate Legal PA.

Nida Iqbal is a Human Capital Business Partner at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this capacity, Nida oversees HR operations, provides guidance to management, analyses HR metrics, resolves employee relations issues, and suggests HR strategies aligned with business goals.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Nida has played a critical role in shaping workforce strategies that align with company’s objectives. She has led and participated in company’s workforce planning, Learning and Development and Talent Management strategies supporting the firm’s growth and global expansion.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Nida worked at Deloitte, The Abraaj Group and Bank of Singapore, where she focused on overseeing the entire employee lifecycle with a focus on Talent Management. She brings 12 years of experience in core HR responsibilities in the financial sector, with expertise in Talent Management and HC Operations.

Nida holds a BSBA Degree from American University of Sharjah, graduating in 2012.

Oliver Johnson is a Legal Counsel at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this role, Oliver is responsible for providing legal support across the business, with a particular focus on executing private equity and strategic transactions.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Oliver practiced as a corporate lawyer in international law firms, focusing on M&A and private equity. Oliver also spent time on secondment to a U.S.-headquartered asset manager.

He brings over a decade of experience and holds degrees from McMaster University and the University of Leicester, respectively.

Omar Gargash is a Senior Legal Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi.

Before joining Mubadala Capital, Omar trained with A&O Shearman, gaining experience in the project finance, leveraged finance and corporate M&A practice groups. Prior to his legal career, Omar spent several years working in policy roles within the UAE Federal Government.

Ophir Shmuel is a Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this role, Ophir leads efforts to expand and deepen the firm's relationships with investors globally, playing a key role in driving strategic growth and capital formation across the platform.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital in 2025, Ophir spent nearly two decades in capital formation roles, most recently with Eaton Partners, where he led their EMEA group, raising capital for a diverse range of global private markets funds. Ophir started his career in Investment Banking with roles at Goldman Sachs and ABN AMRO.

He brings over 25 years of financial services experience and holds a BA (Hons) in Law and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2000.

Osama Al Haatemi is Head of Strategic Operations and a Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Osama is responsible for leading the Strategic Operations function within Human Capital, as well as overseeing Rewards and Compensation. His remit includes driving data-led transformation, leading people analytics and AI integration, Culture & Values, harmonizing global policies, enabling HR technology adoption, managing audit and compliance readiness, and spearheading human capital budgeting and strategic projects.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2017, Osama has played a central role in developing and institutionalizing the firm's Human Capital function. He has led major strategic initiatives, including the deployment of a unified HRIS platform, talent development, org design, compensation frameworks, and diversity projects, helping shape a modern and scalable people-first organization.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Osama held human capital leadership positions at HSBC and First Abu Dhabi Bank. Earlier in his career, he supported Internal Audit, various transformation and capability-building programs.

He brings over 23 years of experience in Human Capital strategy, organizational development, and total rewards, with particular expertise in project management, people analytics, and policy and compliance governance.

Oscar Fahlgren is the Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Private Equity for Mubadala Capital, the alternative asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company. He joined Mubadala in 2010 and has held various senior roles, making significant contributions to the organization’s growth and success.

In his current position, Mr. Fahlgren leads Mubadala Capital’s global private equity investment strategy, overseeing a diversified portfolio and managing teams across multiple regions. He plays an integral role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, evaluating investment opportunities, and ensuring alignment between the private equity operations and broader corporate objectives.

Before joining Mubadala, Mr. Fahlgren worked as an Associate Director at Terra Firma Capital Partners in London. His career began at Vinge, a leading Swedish law firm, and he also gained valuable experience in Leveraged Finance at Societe Generale in London.

Mr. Fahlgren received his Master of Laws (LLM) from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Oscar Hasan is a People Analytics Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this capacity, Oscar oversees the accuracy and effective use of our people data in supporting both Human Capital's objectives as well as the wider organizational objectives.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2024, Oscar has played a critical role in automating reporting for both ad-hoc and recurring internal and external use cases as well as increasing the efficiency of existing processes. He has led multiple projects to embed RPA, AI and other automation tools to increase productivity and consistently looks to explore new areas where technology and people data can be leveraged to provide greater impact.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Oscar worked at EY, where he focused on solving complex people challenges across a variety of sectors. He brings 7 years of experience in people analytics, with particular expertise in data automation and data visualisation.

Paloma Bertolina is a Private Equity Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in London. In this capacity, Paloma primarily focuses on identifying and executing investment opportunities across Europe.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Paloma worked at Citi in their London office, where she advised private equity clients across the European market. Previously, she completed internships at Ardian and BNP Paribas.

Peter Turney is part of the Capital Markets team, based in London. In this capacity, he works closely with the investment teams, as well as legal and tax, in executing debt financings at both the portfolio company and fund level. Peter also executes interest rate and FX hedges and helps maintain Mubadala Capital's lending relationships with international banks and private credit funds.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Peter worked in various capital markets roles at BNP Paribas and MUFG, based in both London and Bahrain. He brings over 20 years of experience, with particular expertise in leveraged/structured finance, bonds, derivatives and macroeconomics.

Peter holds a 1st Class degree in Economics from Royal Holloway University.

Preten Patel is a Private Equity Senior Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in London. Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, he has focused on investment opportunities across financial services and technology sectors.

Preten began his career in 2016 at Barclays Investment Bank, advising corporates, PE, and VC on M&A, equity, and debt transactions across FIG (asset & wealth management, insurance, banks, fintech) and TMT (software, e-commerce, telecom). Preten also invested in fintech companies for the bank within their Principal & Strategic Investments team.

Preten holds a first-class honours degree in Economics from Loughborough University.

Ramin Amin-Javaheri is an Associate on the Private Equity investment team at Mubadala Capital, based in New York.

Ramin joined Mubadala Capital in 2024. Prior to joining, he worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.

Ramin graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he studied Finance, Global Business, Economics, and Entrepreneurship.

Rana Artil is the Facilities Management Lead at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Rana manages day-to-day facilities operations, coordinates with service providers, and ensures the smooth functioning of the office environment.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Rana has played a key role in improving workspace functionality, supporting employee experience, and streamlining vendor and maintenance processes. Raquel Braz is the Office Manager of Mubadala Capital's Rio de Janeiro office. In this capacity, Raquel oversees the full scope of office operations, including space expansion and design project management, administrative and procurement processes, corporate rebranding efforts, service providers and facilities contracts, and daily staff coordination. She also plays a key role in stakeholder engagement and in ensuring a premium work experience through meticulous attention to atmosphere, service and team motivation.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2015, Raquel has been instrumental in establishing and shaping the firm’s presence in Brazil, serving as a bridge between global standards and local execution. She has led multiple office transformations, implemented strategic service improvements, and ensured alignment with ESG and design innovation standards, including the development of biophilic spaces and wellness-driven office features.

Prior to Mubadala Capital, Raquel held roles at EBX Group in Investor Relations, where she coordinated global roadshow logistics and investor engagement, and at UBS/BTG Pactual, supporting Corporate Access, Events and Research teams. Earlier in her career, she also gained administrative experience at a local asset management firm. She brings over 20 years of diverse experience across administration, events, communications and investor relations, with a strong passion for design, people development and operational excellence.

Raquel holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and previously studied architecture, business administration and psychology.

Rebecca Tabb is the General Counsel - Funds at Mubadala Capital, based in New York. In this role, Rebecca is responsible for formation and structuring of investment funds and co-investments across all Mubadala Capital businesses as well as negotiating strategic partnerships.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2018, Rebecca has worked closely with investment teams to structure and negotiate fund commitments, joint ventures, and bespoke investment platforms as well as navigating high-stakes transactions. She has served as the legal lead for several important transactions for the firm, including Fortress, Silver Rock and many others.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Rebecca started her career as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where her practice focused on capital markets, private funds, asset management and corporate governance. She then was with Owl Rock Capital (now Blue Owl) focused on legal and compliance, with experience in both traded and non-traded BDCs and associated compliance and distribution matters. She also served as an academic fellow at the Stanford Law School, Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance.

Rebecca brings over 15 years of legal experience with particular expertise in innovative and complex transactions. She holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was the Nathan Abbott Scholar, which is awarded to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average at graduation, an M.Sc. in economics from UCL and a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.

Rena Shawki Zuabi is Head of Value Creation - Private Equity, based in London. In this capacity, Rena oversees value creation platform strategy and execution in the PE middle market/buyout portfolio alongside the investment team.

Since joining Mubadala Investment Company in 2019 and Mubadala Capital in 2024, Rena has played a key role in enabling multiple expansion and EBITDA performance in portfolio companies. She has led several organic growth, go-to-market, and digital transformation outcomes with executive management and board leadership across the US, Europe, and the Gulf.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Rena worked at BNP Paribas, where she partnered with banking executives to deliver technology-enabled products to corporate clients that drove retention and bottom-line performance. She brings 10+ years of experience in finance and financial services, with particular expertise in strategy, business development, and value creation.

Rena holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California San Diego, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

Renan Andrade is a Senior Principal at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. As part of the Brazil investment team, Renan is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing new investment opportunities, as well as overseeing portfolio companies.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, he has led the structuring of transactions and the management of investments in Metro RJ, Zamp, Atvos, and Clariens, among others. Prior to Mubadala Capital, Renan worked at McKinsey & Company, GP Investments, and Abraaj, gaining valuable experience across multiple sectors.

With over 10 years of experience in private equity, Renan has developed deep expertise in structured transactions, take-private deals, and debt restructuring, with a focus on agribusiness, energy, infrastructure, retail, and education.

Renie Rose Gatus is a Senior Specialist on Mubadala Capital's Finance team, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Renie is responsible for managing financial consolidation and reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and internal deadlines.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2021, Renie has been instrumental in enhancing the firm's financial consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across its global investment platform. She has led and supported key initiatives including the standardization of group reporting, timely delivery of consolidated financial statements, and the implementation of process improvements to support strategic decision-making and portfolio transparency.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Renie was with Deloitte as a Senior Auditor, where she focused on financial statement audits and assurance services for clients across various industries. Her role involved evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting clients through complex financial reporting requirements.

She brings 9 years of experience across sectors such as financial investment, retail, and publicly listed entities, with particular expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit. Renie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in the Philippines, graduating in 2015, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Philippine Christian University (PCU).

Ricardo Paes serves as the Director of Strategic Relations at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, he is responsible for cultivating and sustaining strategic relationships between Mubadala Capital, including its portfolio companies, and a broad spectrum of external stakeholders. These include government agencies at both the federal and state levels, regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other institutional entities.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2016, Ricardo has played a central role in advancing business-friendly tax policies, contributing to the drafting and refinement of legislative proposals, and forging coalitions across diverse sectors and institutional categories.

In recognition of his significant contributions to institutional engagement, Ricardo was named by Bloomberg as one of the 500 Most Influential Individuals in Latin America in 2024.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Ricardo led the private equity division of Modal Investimentos, a prominent Brazilian asset management firm, where he specialized in investments within the oil and gas sector. He also gained extensive expertise in corporate restructuring through his role as Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, and has served in various executive leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Restructuring Officer.

Ricardo holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Richard Sobkiewicz is the Deputy General Counsel - Brazil, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Richard oversees a wide range of new investment opportunities and portfolio matters.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2019, Richard has played a critical role in various large scale acquisitions and new investments. Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Richard worked at a global law firm focused on cross-border M&A and capital markets. He brings over 10 years of experience in executing complex transactions.

Richard holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor's Degree (Joint Hons.) from McGill University.

Rodney joined Mubadala Investment Company in 2008, and served as the General Counsel for Mubadala Capital and as Group General Counsel for Mubadala Investment Company until 2017. He then joined Shearman & Sterling LLP as a Partner in its Global M&A practice where he focused on complex mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions as well as various funds and private equity investments, with a particular emphasis on advising sovereign wealth funds and state-owned enterprises.

Rodney returned to Mubadala in 2020 as the General Counsel for Mubadala Capital and a member of the Mubadala Capital Investment Committee.

He began his career as an Associate with the law firm of Allens in Melbourne, and also worked in the corporate group of Linklaters in London and Clifford Chance in Hong Kong.

Rodney graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws and holds an International MBA from IE in Madrid.

Rodrigo Mancini is Vice President of Finance at Mubadala Capitak, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this role, he leads the controllership function for local entities, covering both balance sheet vehicles and Mubadala Capital companies, and serves on the audit committees of portfolio companies such as Motorsport (SPGP), SailGP, Clariens, HMOBI, and Rota das Bandeiras.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2022, he has been instrumental in strengthening financial controls, improving reporting processes, and enhancing governance across the Group and its portfolio. Previously, Rodrigo was Finance Manager at Warburg Pincus, overseeing accounting and financial processes under BR GAAP and US GAAP, managing financial statements of funds and holdings, and reviewing PPA and valuation reports. He has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance within multinational companies in the energy and private equity sectors, with a strong background in governance, process improvement, and value creation.

Rodrigo holds a degree in Accounting from Universidade Paulista, an MBA in IFRS from Fipecafi, and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC. He is currently completing an LL.M. in Tax Law and pursuing an MBA in Corporate Finance with an emphasis on Valuation at FGV.

Rodrigo Moreira is the General Counsel for Mubadala Capital's Brazil strategy, based in Rio de Janeiro. In this capacity, Rodrigo oversees all legal strategy and matters across the firm's Brazil investment platform and portfolio.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2020, Rodrigo has played a critical role in securing implementation of the firm's investment strategy, transaction execution, portfolio management and overall oversight of its legal, regulatory and governance affairs. He has led the formation, investments and portfolio management of the firm's third party funds and balance sheet businesses in Brazil, supporting the growth and strengthening of these platforms.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Rodrigo worked at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, a leading Brazilian law firm, where he focused on M&A and private equity investments, and was a foreign associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York. He brings over 22 years of experience in M&A and private equity transactions in Brazil and cross-border with a strong background in corporate governance, corporate litigation, administrative litigation with the Brazilian SEC (CVM) and corporate and commercial law matters.

Rodrigo holds a postgraduate (LL.M.) degree in Law with Columbia University in the City of New York, USA as Harlan Fiske Stone scholar, and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration – Lato Sensu with FIA – Fundação Instituto de Administração in São Paulo, Brazil. Rodrigo also holds a law degree (LL.B.) with the University of São Paulo, USP.

Rogério Vasconcelos is a Senior Associate at Mubadala Capital, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this role, Rogério is responsible for originating and executing investments primarily in Brazil and overseeing portfolio company value creation and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Rogério was with Axxon Group, a Brazilian private equity firm focused on the middle market, where he was involved in multiple investments across a range of sectors.

He brings 10 years of private equity experience, with particular expertise in navigating complex transactions. Rogério holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) in Brazil, with an exchange at Queen Mary University of London.

Roudha Alhosani is an Events and Communications Lead at Mubadala Capital, based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, Roudha manages the planning and delivery of internal and external events, and supports communications, branding, and stakeholder engagement across the business.

Since joining Mubadala Capital in 2025, Roudha has supported a range of key initiatives, including leadership offsites, investor events, and full platform offsites that reflect Mubadala Capital’s brand and values.

Prior to this, she worked at Mubadala Investment Company as Office Manager to the CEO, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations of the executive office, senior-level coordination, and administrative support.
