Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi is Mubadala Investment Company’s Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, and has strategic oversight of the company’s broad investment portfolio and special projects at the group level. He is also a member of the investment committee, which is mandated to develop Mubadala’s investment policies, establish investment guidelines, and review proposed projects and investments to ensure they are in line with business objectives.
Waleed is also the Chairman to Mubadala's new investment and business planning committee, which approves deals within a certain financial threshold in addition to the responsibility of annual and multi-year business planning. Furthermore, Waleed has oversight of the Real Estate & Infrastructure and Disruptive platforms. Prior to joining Mubadala, Waleed worked with the UAE Offsets Program Bureau as a Senior Project Manager. Past roles also include working with McKinsey & Company as a consultant.
Waleed holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Homaid Al Shimmari is the Deputy Group CEO and Chief Corporate & Human Capital Officer of Mubadala Investment Company. He has oversight of Mubadala’s Business Services, Enterprise Technology Services, Government Affairs, Construction Management Service, Employee Career Growth, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Emiratization.
Prior to the merger of Mubadala Development Company and International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), Homaid was the CEO of the Aerospace and Engineering Services platform at Mubadala. His main focus was driving forward the strategic vision and plans for developing technologically advanced industries within Abu Dhabi and the UAE, in addition to ensuring Mubadala is well positioned to become a key global aerospace, ICT and Defence player.

Chief Legal Officer, Mubadala Investment Company
Samer Halawa is Mubadala Investment Company’s Chief Legal Officer, responsible for the company’s legal, governance, tax and regulatory affairs worldwide. He is Secretary to the Board and the Board Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Mubadala, he headed the Corporate and Commercial Law practice of Habib Al Mulla & Co in Dubai, practicing a wide variety of international and local corporate and commercial law, specializing in cross-border M&A.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Jordan University and a member of the Jordanian Bar Association.

Chief Financial Officer, Mubadala Investment Company
As Mubadala Investment Company's Chief Financial Officer, Carlos is responsible for managing the organization's Business Finance including Treasury and Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Business Performance, and Financial Governance and Reporting.
Before joining Mubadala, Carlos worked with the UAE Offset Program Bureau where he led a wide range of initiatives including privatization, utilities and financial services.
Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Managing Director & CEO, Abu Dhabi Investment Council
Saeed Al Mazrouei has recently been appointed Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Investment Council, and was formerly Deputy Platform CEO, Direct Investments at Mubadala. In that role, he oversaw platform-wide activities, supported the delivery of the platform’s investment strategy, managed the platform’s capital allocation, ensured the successful implementation of capital deployment and monetization transactions and assessed value, risks and expected returns.
Prior to working with the Direct Investments platform, Al Mazrouei was Deputy CFO of Mubadala where he oversaw the group-wide finance function and delivery of the company’s growth strategy, supporting various acquisitive transactions and asset monetizations. He was also responsible for all Treasury activities including Mubadala’s bond issuances and project financing.
Prior to that, Al Mazrouei was seconded from Mubadala to spearhead the launch of the Debt Management Office (DMO) within the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance. During his time at the DMO, he led a number of transactions valued at more than USD $30 billion and which aimed to provide support funding to a number of entities in the banking and real estate sectors, as well as various government debt issuances.
He holds a BSc in Finance from Suffolk University, US, an MSc in International Securities Investment and Banking from the University of Reading, UK, and an MSc in National Security and Strategic Studies from National Defense College, UAE.

Deputy CEO of Credit and Special Situations, Mubadala Investment Company
Omar Eraiqaat is the Deputy CEO of the Credit and Special Situations platform at Mubadala Investment Company. In this role, Omar oversees the platform’s $20 billion Credit Investments unit, as well as the Special Situations unit and a number of country-specific investment programs.
As a founding member of both the Credit Investments unit, which was launched in 2016, and the Special Situations unit, created in 2024, Omar spearheaded the creation of the respective units’ strategies and scaling the businesses to achieve their performance targets.
Omar has also held several leadership roles within Mubadala since joining the company in 2007. He was a senior member of the Specialty Finance unit, which was mandated with the development and growth of the $6 billion joint venture between Mubadala and GE Capital that co-invested globally in a variety of asset classes in the credit space.
Prior to joining Mubadala, Omar held positions with HSBC and Abu Dhabi Investment Company.
He sits on the board of Mubadala Energy, and is also a member of the Credit and Special Situations platform’s Investment Committee as well as Mubadala’s Investment & Business Planning Committee.
Omar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.

CEO, M-Cor Capital, LLC
Josh Lobel is the CEO of M-Cor Capital, the global investment arm of the Milken Family. M-Cor operates across multiple strategies, including special situations, private equity and GP stakes. The firm synthesizes the investment effort and global relationship base of a 40-year storied family office and philanthropy ecosystem, with particular emphasis on global credit markets and joint ventures in Latin America and the Middle East.
Josh was the Co-Founder and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Red Cell Partners, an incubator focused on building rapidly scalable technology companies in national security, cyber and healthcare. Red Cell emphasizes machine learning-driven breakout solutions to intractable problems in incumbent-dominated sectors. Previously, Josh was Co-Managing Partner of Archer Capital Management, a distressed debt and event-driven equity firm which he operated from 2005 to 2019 with top quartile performance and unblemished compliance. Archer focused on the telecommunications, building products, A&D and power sectors. After graduate school, Josh began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity groups of Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York.
Mr. Lobel currently serves on the Board of the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, the Los Angeles Police Foundation and the Wharton School Graduate Advisory Board. From 2017- 2025, he served on the Board of Cedars Sinai Medical Center and is the immediate past Chair of the Investment Committee.
Josh is a passionate reader, pilot, and investor. He earned a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Michelle, along with their five children currently reside in Dallas, Texas. building rapidly scalable technology companies in national security, cyber, and health care.

Carl Meyer is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Silver Rock Financial LP (“Silver Rock”), an investment management firm with offices in Los Angeles and New York.
Mr. Meyer founded Silver Rock in 2016, focusing on opportunistic investments within credit markets. Immediately prior to launching Silver Rock, Mr. Meyer spent 6 years as the Chief Investment Officer of a high net worth family office based in Los Angeles.
Previously, Mr. Meyer worked for approximately 18 years at Citigroup or its predecessors where he ran the US High Yield Syndicate business, the public side of the US High Yield business, and the Global Distressed Debt and Equity businesses.
Mr. Meyer holds a BA and MBA from the University of Chicago.

Hani Barhoush is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Capital, the asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, a global sovereign investor with approximately $330 billion in assets under management, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this capacity, Hani leads all investment and operational activities for Mubadala Capital's various businesses. Hani is a founding member of Mubadala Capital and has helped grow the business to its current state of over 200 employees spread across 5 global offices managing, advising and administering over $430 billion of AUM.
In addition to his leadership at Mubadala Capital, Hani serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Credit and Special Situations platform at Mubadala Investment Company, overseeing investment businesses focused on Credit, Growth, and Special Opportunities.
Since joining Mubadala in 2004, Hani has had several leadership roles at the firm and has been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth and evolution. He has extensive experience managing complex, bespoke, cross-border transactions and has led numerous high-profile partnerships throughout his tenure.
Prior to joining Mubadala, Hani worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith in New York.
Hani holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He also earned a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Harvard Law School.
